Aloha

"There are two great days in a person's life - the day we are born and the day we discover why." - William Barclay

So hot! The weather in here is boiling hot for real. While you're reading this post put THIS song playing for backround. The weekend has passed by and one of the last schoolweeks begun. The only bad thing about time flying by too quickly is that the physics exam is getting closer and closer. I may be good at math but I ain't understanding the laws of physics so well.
Anyway, on Thursday there was a small music event in my townie. Reunited with some of my old buddies, listened to good music and danced waltz - got home at 3 in the morning aaand the following day was a schoolday :D.

I was so exhausted after school I just had to take a nap before going to a birthday party. My ex-classmate and a good friend Birgit reached her way up to sweet 18. The party was cool - more girls than guys *winkle* *winkle*. I drank wine and we danced, enjoyed ourselves. The people at the party were really friendly even though they didn't know me and I didn't know them - it was great to make some new friends. I managed to took some pictures too.

Wouldn't wanna mess with them

Mark: "Hell yea bro!"

Saturday was more like a resting day. Had a barbeque with my best friends. I hate that I missed the Champions League final that day. I was on the Atletico Madrid's side but unfortunately they lost on penalties. On Wednesday, I'll be going to a camp with students from Sillamäe. It's a russian-estonian language camp and I'm really looking forward to it!

A hog-killin’ time

"If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop diggin'."

So many things going on and so few time to write the post about the events. On Friday, for the second time an event called Velokulg took place in my tiny hometown Viljandi. The event courages people to take their bicycles out and have a ride with hundreds of people all together. The circuit was about 15km long. Unfortunately, I didn't participate in this year's ride but I volunteered to help. I & few other offered headlights, taillights and bike bells to people who didn't have these on their bikes. After the riders finished, we gave the exhausted ones some food and drinks so they could recover.

Saturday wasn't really easier - I got two birthdays that I didn't wanna miss. Two of my amigas reached the age of majority - Merit and Loora. Loora's birthday party was country-themed and Merit's in Grammys style.

"Cows ain't milking themselves, get to work woman!"

Dangerous

The only excuse why there aren't many pictures of the parties is that the events were too damn wild 'n' crazy to capture them on the camera. Made some new acquaintances and had a great time. The weekend ended with some work at home and a little family grill n chill evening. Awesome!
The only pics I have from Merit's birthday :D

Presidents & Bad hair day

"Just living is not enough... one must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower." - Hans Christian Andersen

Well, this schoolyear has been great. Our country's Prime Minister lecured in our school few months ago and now the President of Estonia Toomas Hendrik Ilves and the President of Finland Sauli Niinistö visited us. There was like a different atmosphere in the building - "royal" vibes. Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to listen the lecture because the auditorium was already full of people when I got there.

A couple of days later, our class went to Soomaa National Park. My friend got himself a new camera and most of the pictures in this post are made by him. The weather was fine and it was nice to walk around there.

NOW, don't say anything bad about my haircut - I know it's bad :D. Had enough criticism from my friends and even family members.

Wolves & bunnies

"Summer has filled her veins with light and her heart is washed with noon." - C. Day Lewis

Long time no see. The weather outside is so sunny and warm that I haven't got the time to write about my thoughts lately. Almost a week ago I went to Sillamäe with a group of people from my school. We went there because we are going to have a camp in Otepää in June and we met the lads who are coming with us. Anyway, we had much fun there and I managed to make some new homies.

My group in Sillamäe - "11 hunti" (t. 11 wolves)

The previous weekend was quiet. Enjoyed the weather, played basketball, my friend Kaido bought himself a BMX and he promised to learn some tricks during the upcoming summer.

After the Sillamäe trip I made a new admirable friend. She is really fun to hang with because we could talk about almost anything - from conspiracy theories to Donald Trump vs Kanye West comparison, we even talked about Sims 3 (yes, unfortunately, I'm an ex-sims nolifer). Also, she could talk about astrology for hours, thanks to her I even started to believe in astrology because she predicted pretty much things about me knowing only my Zodiac sign.

Ride 'n' Grind 2K16

"Hopefully, kids realize you can do anything you want. Skateboarding can be that gateway." - Ryan Sheckler

Yeah! Simple Session 16 was overwhelmingly good. On Friday I took the train to Tallinn and went to the job interview for upcoming summer because I need to earn some money to buy my own camera and a car. The interview was in English and I think it went quite well. Next up, I went to Old Town and as I had Mark's camera with me I took some pictures. I reunited with an old friend and later Mark, Kaido and Simon came to Tallinn too.

Birds sing, photographer smiles

On Saturday, the qualification day of the Session began. Watching how people skate and ride made me wanna learn these things too - really thrilling to watch. Sadly, just before the end of the qualification Kyle Baldock fell right onto his head. His ride was great until that crash, he drove the crowd really crazy - no surprise he had the potential to win the Session. Medics took him away and later we were said that thankfully he was okay.

The guy with the glasses in the middle Adrien Bulard was also very skilled

Nose manual grinding at it's finest

Unfortunately none of the Estonians qualified for the Finals. Everything was epic - all the 360's, hardflips, frontflips, even crashes were breathtaking to watch. Even managed to find my favorite skater and BMX rider and take a picture with them.

Kechaud Johnson with his fab pink cap

Kechaud finished 2nd and I liked him 'cus his jumps went really high. His airtime was cool to watch and pinky cap always shined so everyone could see him.

Favorite BMX rider Courage Adams - the name Courage says it all

Courage's riding style was unique, he is more like a street BMX rider. His nose manual to 360 to manual to bars were really awesome to watch. The crowd loved him and his ultra combos.

Backflip

Furthermore, I made a new friend Hanna and I got the chance to try her longboard - it was awesome! Like my friend Simon often says: "Damn, life is good." There was a challenge with a balance board by PULS Nutrition. You had to stay in balance for 20 sec at least to get 1 protein bar for free, I managed to hold myself on the board for 43 sec - yea. The protein bars were absolutely delicious.

Feeling great

Every day, before we went to sleep we played some cards and ate at McDonalds, sadly, every evening. Fun weekend, can't describe it!

Absolutely not bluffing
