HOT BLOOD

"It's all about quality of life and finding a happy balance between work and friends and family." - Philip Green

Well, I had a long "weekend" at home. I already went to Viljandi on Wednesday because I had to attend the youth council meeting. I also had a test in electrical engineering and I feel that I did well. However, I took these couple of days off to go home because I've done my schoolwork in advance and I had to write a few motivational letters and an essay for travelling purposes and I just missed my friends and family.
After the meeting on Wednesday, I went home and just chilled with my family. I helped my little bro with his math exercises and beated him in FIFA - it was fun. Sad thing is that I don't have any more episodes of The 100 left, good thing is that I decided to start watching it from season 1 again. And as I'm really obsessed with Photoshop again and I love The 100, I just thought that I'd like to practice making photos a bit cartoony by making a fan art of the show. I picked my favorite character of the series and spent a couple of hours making the sketch. Furthermore, the pic above is also done by me and you don't need to tell me how odd it looks, I know haha.

You have to watch The 100 for sure - fell in love with Raven myself

I spent my days mostly writing, studying and watching the show or movies. When it came to nights I had tons of fun with my friends. We cruised around, went out for dinner with music and partied. Craziest night was on Saturday when we thought with guys that it would be awesome to just sit down together and talk about guys' stuff while sipping some whiskey or something. We did that except we grouped up with our friends who aren't really guys but who cares, we still had hell of a lot fun together. We were at Merili's with Kristjan, Mark, Simon, Kaido, Kristel and Merili and afterwards went out to the city center to meet up with some others. I also saw my friend Kermo and somehow managed to promise that I would go to Guns N' Roses concert with him in next summer (so I have some plans for the summer now).

Legend

"I know what I've done for music, but don't call me a legend. Just call me Miles Davis." - Miles Davis

It's another school holiday, yay! At least it should be but it doesn't seem like one for me. I'm going to Tallinn University of Technology on Monday. I want to try out the life as a university student and because of that I'm going to follow a business information technology student for a day. More about that in the next post.4
I've been trying to get more alone time lately. Everyone on the Net have gone crazy about the upcoming season of Stranger Things and about a week ago I had no idea what this TV show was about so I gave it a try. I watched the first season and it was way more interesting that I expected. The science fiction takes place in the 80s and now I understand why everyone was so hyped about the next season - I can't wait either! Furthermore, I continued to watch a series about criminal law and justice - How to Get Away with Murder. These are the two shows I've spent most of my spare time with.

Stranger Things

Besides the anti-social life I've been living now, I visited my granny with my sister and also visited Viljandi's best local cafe Legend with my friends couple of times. One night when I was just casually watching my shows, my classmate Triin messaged me that she needs a lift with her own car. As always I was trying to do the right thing and went to Legend and sat down for a few minutes and then drove the girls home. The benefit I gained from this action was Triin's car. After I drove everyone home, Triin borrowed her car and because it's way more comfortable vehicle than mine, I picked up Merili and we cruised for a couple of hours, even had a late dinner outside the town. It's really nice to attend live concerts at Legend from time to time, especially on schooldays to have a break from studying.

FOCUS

"Christmas is a season not only of rejoicing but of reflection." - Winston Churchill

It's Christmas and New Year's Eve that's on our minds right now. Christmas was joyful as always and besides spending quality time with mi familia, I shared Christmas happiness with my friend Merili too. My mom finally told my brother that Santa Claus doesn't exist but yea, he knew that already. Furthermore, I restarted my gym membership because you know after Christmas I have to lift those extra kilos down.
Before going to a 2-week holiday, I attended a school ball. The party was themed after cartoons and dresscode was also some cartoon character. I dressed myself up as Mike Wazowski from Monsters Inc. and when I arrived I saw something inevitable - most of the guests didn't follow the dresscode rules and came in suits and dresses. Thankfully, I wasn't the only one dressed up like a mascot of a football game. There were a few others. At the ball, we also won 3 Oscars with our film.

However, talking more about the 24th. After reading poems to Santa with my family, I met up with Merili and we went to my place. We had an awesome night with Merili. We stayed up till 7 a.m - the night mostly consisted of singing, dancing and talking. We had some weirds thoughts about going to swim because we thought it would've been memorable Christmas if we went swimming that day. Fortunately, we were smart enough to not get ourselves sick for the remaining holiday. It was one of the best Christmas I've ever had.

Heathens

"Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated." - Confucius

It's time. The schoolbell has rung and it's time to throw shorts back into the closet and bring out the jacket. The last days of the summer holiday were quiet. I hung out with my friends and went to see Suicide Squad. We went to see it in Tartu and I was the driver to get us there. The movie met my expectations - the plot wasn't anything special but the humor and special effects made the film awesome. But damn, Margot Robbie is hot af.

2 Fast 2 Furious

Lately I've mostly spent my time with Mark, Simon, Merili and Caspar (also on the pic above, riding shotgun). Took the last of the holiday. We've watched movies, played FIFA, cruised down the streets, listened to my stupid jokes and we even tried on Merili's clothes with Mark. And Simon still gets destroyed by me in FIFA16, can't wait for the next FIFA (omgomgomg).

But like I said - school. I'm starting my final year in gymnasium as a 12th grader. The first two days of school were easy. On the second day we had to do some activities which were really fun. The best one was where we got into groups and my group had to put a straitjacket on me while I was acting all crazy. I made it really hard for them, eh.

REUNION

"Actually, the moment of victory is wonderful, but also sad. It means that your trip is ended." - Bill Toomey

Omg, it's almost time to go back to school. There are school-themed commercials everywhere and I still feel like the summer just began.
Few days ago I went to Tallinn with my friend (and dancepartner) Merit, her sista Laura and my new friends Rauno & Kirsika. I was just bored of being at home all day so the day went much brighter when I got the chance to go to Tallinn with them. While we were driving we exchanged our thoughts about Weekend festival with Merit and Laura. The festival was so huge that I only saw them once during the three days I spent in Pärnu. When we finally arrived, we went shopping and I bought myself some new fresh kicks and a Suicide Squad t-shirt (I still haven't seen the actual movie but many have said that the shirt itself is better than the movie :D). We weren't happy about the shopping-all-day-thing with Rauno and we tried not to cry too much. Later, we dropped off Laura because she was going to Denmark the following day. When we were driving back to Viljandi we suddenly decided to visit Rummu. The weather was superb at the moment we planned this - fog and sunset at the same time looked glorious. But when we arrived the sun had already went down and it was too dark to take the pictures, sadly. In overall, the trip was awesome because I don't see Merit too often and it's always great to see her and have a talk about the stupid things we've been doing lately.

Top quality pictures

 Quite scary, isn't it?

The next day I woke up and again went to Tallinn, this time by train. I met up with my friends from the media seminar I recently attended. When I waited for Mery-Ly, some foreigners came to me and started talking about their religion. Even though I'm not religious I heard them out and broadened my horizons a bit I guess. After that we went for a coffee with Mery-Ly and had some quality time together. We went to a bar where she works and I made a new aquintance in there who liked my shirt I bought the previous day so much that she wanted to buy/take/steal it from me. Now I know that if I ever have a need to have a glass of whiskey with ice, I go to Route 13. The American atmosphere over there is astonishing, splendid.

Route 13

After that we met up with Julia, Ilona and Andrei and before going to the movies had a coffee with them and reminded the "old times" when we were at the camp. We watched Bad Moms and it was freaking hilarious. I'm not a fan of comedies but it was really funny, you better watch it. I rate it 8 out of 10. 8 because it was funny but like I said, I'm not a fan of the comedy genre. After the film I ran to the old town to get the keys to the apartment I had to stay the night at. That was right after we sent Julia, Ilona and Andrei onto the bus. Finally, we went to Route 13 because you know, Life is a Highway. I had a whiskey with ice and we had a chat with some people. Groovy.

The morning after

The next day I went back to my sweet hometown and met up with my best friends and as you know me, I like to talk about myself, eh. :D They had to listen all the crap I had done in Tallinn. Right now, I'm writing this post in Kristel's laptop. I'm with my friends but while they're having fun and all the laughs, I'm being a total computer whiz by writing this post. :D

"The person who receives the most favors is the one who knows how to return them." - Publilius Syrus

Last post until Weekend, yeah! I'm so excited for Weekend festival, just can't wait to dance and scream myself to death already. We're going to vlog the festival with my fellow-blogger Mariel so you better look forward to it! :D

Triin 18

My classmate Triin recently turned 18. I know I promised to make pics of Mark's birthday party but I forgot. Both parties were awesome. I saw my classmates who I hadn't talked to since school and I had a chat with my good friend Merit (the one with pink hair and pink skirt XD). It was nice.

Didn't see the photographer

We also went to see a movie Lights Out with mah friends. The film was hair-raising because it had so many jumpscares in it and most of us hadn't seen a scary movie in a cinema before. We went drag-racing (not really but yeah) and took some top drawer pics. Karlis even managed to push his car to the limits - the clutch of the car started to act weirdly after some drift and drag sessions. But we got home so it's OK at least for us. :D

Viljandi is my sweet little hometown as some of you know. My town is quite well-known due a festival called Folk. It's like Oktoberfest but with folk music. We had great time there and I helped my friend Karl to set up his hookah lounge Jookah in there. It was nice to chill and offer people the best hookah in Viljandi.

The furniture was the biggest attention-magnet

Sweet cinnamon

"Walking with a friend in the dark is better than walking alone in the light." - Helen Keller

Well, do you want to know what's the weirdest weird movie ever? No, right? :D "The Brothers Grimsby" is the title of the movie that I went to see with my friends on Friday. The leading role was played by Sacha Baron Cohen - known for "Borat" and "The Dictator". The movie had lots of "straight outta ass" jokes but I still loved it. Actually I didn't plan to go to the cinema, I was just jamming with two of my friends Merili and Mark at my place and some of my classmates texted me and asked if I wanted to drive with them to Pärnu and watch something - I was like, yeah, why the hell not. After the film we were like, woah, what the f- was that. Sorry for the language, but that's how it was. Also we went to McDonald's and after that headed back home.

Merili, Mark and I swapped our faces

 Günther's car in Pärnu

Saturday was also quite interesting, I even read a book, not gonna tell what book yet. Trying to finish it before. Later, my familia and I went to my uncle's birthday party. So much food.. mm.. Wished him best luck, reminded him that he got EVEN older now and asked him how he likes his mid-life crisis. x) Humor. I wasn't at the party for a long time, I met up with Kaido, Mark and Merili and we went to Mark's place and had a great karaoke night with some cheap wine.

The best thing about birthdays - FOOD

Typical Mark - harassing x)

Now, Sunday, that's the best day of the week 'cus my sweeeeet granny came to visit me. She brought my favorite cinnamon rolls and I made coffee and we had a little chat. Quality time :).
