Blossom out

"Yes I'm tired of all this talking 'cause everything you hear is empty words." - Blossom, Milky Chance

Another long period of time since the last post. Well, maybe I really have motivation problems lately but the thing is I don't have any free tiiiime. School is keeping me busy, I'm trying to get myself into entrepreneurship (maybe you'll hear about it soon!) and I started watching Stranger Things and The 100 TV shows again.
I took a whole weekend to study and do my chores. I'm currently doing my programming homework, now that I ran into some bug I can't seem to fix I decided to write a blog post instead. I also have to write a motivational letter to attend a course abroad in spring and I found an essay competition which I wanna take part in - so I have too fu**ing much to do.
Well, the previous things I wrote above were my doings lately, now or near future. But as I haven't posted for a while again then I have several moments I wanna share with you and my future self.
Firstly, one evening when I decided to have a sit-down with my friends from Viljandi, the girls (Kristel, Mariel and Merili) decided they wanted to make the guys a little less masculine. To do that, the put some make up on us, by us I mean my great friend Peeter and I.

Secondly, one day Mark came to visit me in Tallinn and we went shopping (didn't buy anything tho) and afterwards had some beers and a pizza. It was cool and the waitress at the diner was really beautiful (should've asked her name)!

Photogenic

I'm starting to get used to living in the capital, I've made many new friends and acquaintances and we're living the real uni-life with our hometown squad in here. Toomas Erik out!

Found some selfies so I thought why not put these in the post

Tourists

"We don't stop going to school when we graduate." - Carol Burnett

Graduation is around the corner. Actually, I have to wait over a month to get my exam results and high school diploma. The math exam went almost perfect, I'm expecting over 90% for sure because I only had one tiny mistake. In overall, I feel great about the exams. The photos that are made in school are taken by Merlin Kuld.

However, I've had some fun too. After math exam I went out with some of my friends and we chilled around the town. At one point we came up with a plan to play tourists (bucket list!) and it ended up hilarious. First, we went to an expensive hotel and pretended to be russian tourists so we started to talk in English with a russian accent, then we went into a casino and when they asked our ID's we told them that we thought it was a hotel or sth and finally we visited a strip club to ask if they're serving any food in there. We just fooled around and I haven't had this kinda fun for a long time. Furthermore, a few days ago we had a small BBQ at Kaido's with my lads. Mark took some nice pics too so I can share the mood with you. And moreover, my days and nights have been full of activity thanks to my classmates with who I've spent much spare time now. Even though we don't have any classes anymore, we still go and play basketball next to our schoolhouse.

I haven't talked much about my family in the blog but that's because I still try to keep some of my privacy. However, I can talk little about how I spent the mother's day. We bought a cake and tickets to cinema with my brother and then surprised our mom. The day was delightful.

FOOD PORN

"Ambition is a dream with a V8 engine." - Elvis Presley

You don't turn 19 everyday, do you? It was my birthday yesterday and the day was great - I felt amazing when my schoolmates came to wish me happy birthday. Furthermore, I'm going to have a few friends over on Friday, by a few I mean like 35 people - I hope my house survives the blast. I've also been going for regular runs lately. After the marathon which I finished second and a recent test where high school students are tested if they're fit enough to do army conscription (Kaitseväe test), I had a huge motivation boost. As I maxed out the Defence Forces test, I felt like I should train my stamina even more and reach for even higher stars. As two great friends of mine (a'holes) have been bantering about my desire to attend a university abroad, my response to them was that my plans have changed from "going to Harvard" to "running to Harvard". Quotation marks are there because I'm not going to Harvard, I'll leave the seats free for the smarter ones :D. But still, being an international student would be dope.

 Feelin' happy

Messy hair don't care

My grades right now are better than ever in high school. I just got a 5 in physics, my GPA is 4.6 (on scale of 1 to 5) and I'm feeling fantastic. I feel like my tutoring sessions in physics for Merili have really paid off in my grades too. I've started studying more at home. Once you get into the rhythm, melody sounds even better. Dancing sessions have been going rougher and tougher tho. I hope Marga won't give up on me just yet (I'm going to last longer than Greg did XD) - insides.

Self-made = well-made

As you can see I designed a notebook for myself. I can say I'm fairly satisfied with the final outcome - messed around with Photoshop two evenings in a row to get it done perfectly. The pictures were taken in a pizza restaurant a few days ago where we had a food orgy and wonderful studying session with Merili, Mark and Simon.

Barbeque

"The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today." - H. Jackson Brown Jr.

It's already Tuesday, I've been so busy this week. Summer is getting closer and closer, finally winter is coming to an end - been waiting for that. My leg is slowly getting better and I had a great weekend too thanks to that.

The funniest thing that happened was that on Saturday I took a bus to Tallinn with my friends and one guy who sat next to us was really drunk and even maybe even more than drunk. He tried to socialize with us which is nice but he kept repeating that had to pee and out of nothing he started to pee into an empty bottle he had with him. He did it right next to us and the next thing he did was that he tried to flirt with 2 of my friends, told one of them how great her "bombs" are.. - charming isn't he?

Moss

Almost as spicy as it was tasty

Anyway, we went shopping and had a lunch in a restaurant called Chi. The food there was absolutely delicious and spicy. The girls with me and Simon won 2 VIP tickets to a boxing event and we wanted to go there too but we ran into "complications" with the place where we had to stay for the night. Thanks to that, we headed home and left 2 of our friends behind to enjoy the match.

BOOST

On Sunday, grandma visited me and as I couldn't live without my friends, they came to my place and we had an awesome barbeque evening. The negative side of the evening was that my friends ate half of my cinnamon rolls that my grandma brought me.

Moooore food = moooore happiness

The next week is going to be the long-waited one-week holiday but right now I have to study, bye!

Weekend or smth

"For some people, Easter means a second chance."

It's absolutely great to get sick just before the weekend arrives. Actually, things aren't that bad. On Monday and Tuesday, my schoolday was pretty awesome because as I study in Viljandi Gymnasium, I got the chance to introduce the school to the students that are coming to our school next year. On Monday, I had two of my friends Merili and Simon with me for the whole schoolday. Some of the classes at the end of the day were cancelled and it was kinda sad 'cus we had much fun. On Tuesday, my fellow blogger Mariel was the one who had to stay the whole day with me. Those days were way more interesting than the usual schooldays because I felt like a boss and even got them to do my schoolwork x).

The Ultimate "GET WELL" Package

But the darker side of the week.. I got sick and the biggest issue is that I'm suppose to go to a surgery on next Tuesday but I can't go if I'm sick and have a fever. So I spent the whole weekend mostly sleeping and taking meds. However, Kristel and Laura visited me and gave me some "healing" energy and we watched a horror movie, so thankfully, I got some joyous company for some time.

At least I didn't starve

Last thing - Happy Easter! Eggs crushed and eaten, also, I even feel better now, let's hope I'll get well. :)

16 & 72

"The only thing I like better than talking about food is eating." - John Walters

It's the last week till the third period of my school is over. Next week is a holiday and I haven't planned anything - right now it seems like I'm going to spend the whole holiday sleeping.
This week, except the fact that I had a lot of tests, was quite interesting for a schoolweek. On Monday I had my first driving school class and I went to see my lovely grandma - she turned 72 but still behaves like a teen :D. You have to consider about 2 extra kilos when visiting your granny, at least I do. On Wednesday, I and my friends threw a little surprise party for our handball god Simon. He turned 16, oh well I remember my 16th birthday, good times. It's funny, my friends threw me a surprise party too when I got 16. Anyway, we can now go the club with Simony.

Simon isn't happy about his aging

Throwback to my 18th birthday party - great quality tho

Sushi & chill

Mariel Pähkel's Photography

It's Sunday, schoolweek is about to begin again but I had an enjoyable weekend. I crossed off one Bucket List goal and I feel damn well about it.
I wanted to try sushi for a long time but usually no one else wanted to go to sushi restaurant with me because nobody really likes sushi. This weekend my friends Mariel, Kristel, Mark and Kaido came with me to cross this thing off my Bucket List. I learned that sushi isn't really my kinda food - it was cold and not really tasty. But like I said, I feel good that I tried it - no regrets. Mark bought some chicken sushi and that was pretty delicious and I said that to him like 10 times to get a bite of it - after a long effort and whining I got one. Winning. Sushi devoured, we went to Mariel and Kristel's home, Simon joined us. Just chilled there and had a deep conversations about relationships and world problems. Well spent day.

"But honestly I'd rather be
Somewhere with my people we can kick it and just listen
To some music with the message like we usually do
And we'll discuss our big dreams
How we plan to take over the planet
So pardon my manners, I hope you'll understand it
That I'll be here"

Nutella love

"Anything is good if it's made of chocolate." - Jo Brand

You know the feel, when you come home and your mom or grandmother has made some pancakes for you to eat? Of course you do, I do. Today, the first day of the boring school week, coming home from school and guess what? My loving mother had made me and my bro some delicious pancakes. Mmm jealous already...? Anyway, there's the dark side of the day too - I have to study for my History of Art's test tomorrow, so no time for playing FIFA or watching Breaking Bad :/...At least for now :). Also I wanted to say that I started this blog because my very good friend Mariel is also a blogger and she inspired me to start blogging myself. Go check her blog out: www.marielpahkel.com. That's all for now. If you have any questions or want me to add something interesting to my bucket list then comment or write me an e-mail: toomaserikanijarv@gmail.com.
