Top notch

"The flame that burns twice as bright burns half as long." - Lao Tzu

It's really weird to think that high school is almost over. Right now it's pretty much my last term with real classes and stuff. A month or so and I'll already have exams frightening me. Anyway, the point I wanted to reach here was that the main reason I haven't posted recently is my desire to focus on my studies more. It's almost over, it's scary. But still, self-centered as I am, I'm going to write this post and you're gonna hear a lots of me-talking as always.
Football section: Champions League - Barcelona vs PSG. The game was awesome. I was at Merili's watching the game and for fun predicted the match to end with 6-1 with Barcelona winning. It really happened. Barca lost their previous match to PSG 0-4 and the comeback was just fantastic. 2 penalties, 1 freekick and the final finishing touch by Sergi Roberto - top notch.

Now some school topics. Like I said before, school is kinda my main sh*t right now. I've been studying physics mainly but a few days ago we had a career day at school. We had to pick three workshops. I'm gonna talk about the last workshop which was my favorite. It was about selling books in the US - Southwestern Advantage (first picture in the post). I've always admired people who's main goal is to succeed in life, do as much as they can with their "limited" time. They talked about budgeting, setting goals and making difficult decisions. Three of us including me got a gift for being active at the lecture. The gift was a book "Rikkaks saamise õpik" by Jaak Roosaare (in Eng. "Getting rich handbook"). I'm already familiar with the content of the book because I've read a similar writing by a different author but I'll look into that masterpiece soon too.

I'd like to thank the two lecturers Rait and Sander for this amazing gift

Even though I didn't want to talk much about my social life in this post, I still need to mention that my friend Kristo threw one hell of a birthday party yesterday. The moment we gave Kristo his wonderful present with Kermo, we saw how delightful the little birthday boy was. The gift was a drunkard's starter pack - we only wish you well, Kristo!

Ups & downs

"Thank you for life, and all the little ups and downs that make it worth living." - Travis Barker

Everyone has their ups and downs. Right now I'm not sure which one I'm having but let's focus on the positive side. As the football pitch in my town was under construction for a while because it needed new grass cover, I hadn't played football for months. Now as the field is ready we went there to try the new artificial turf out by obviously playing some football. The weather was perfect at the time we arrived and thankfully Mark had his camera with him and we managed to score some great goals and take breathtaking photos.

According to my calendar, its still supposed to be autumn outside but when I look out of my window I see snow everywhere. I'm not really a fan of winter but when I went jogging yesterday, I was glad that I took my phone with me so I could get some stunning photos of the landscape covered with angelic snow. When I started running back towards home I ran into Liisa and Karmen who were walking their dogs. They were also outside to take pictures and Karmen even took one of me.

Klavan to the Kop

"Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive." - Elbert Hubbard

It's the end of July and I can't wait for August because then I'm going to a media seminar and Weekend Festival Baltic. Few days ago I went to Mainor and claimed my prize of the contest (Game designing contest) where I got 2nd place. But I'm still mad that I didn't get the 1st place (cmon, PS4..). :D

From left to right - 1st place winners, 2nd place (obviously me), 3rd place, Mikk Luige, Jaanus Jaggo

The 8-hour game designing course was great, learned about advertising, designing and many more. The people over there really encouraged me to bring my game idea to life (literally). After the course I went to see the new Tarzan movie - it was nothing special but it was probably boring for me because I was really, really tired and I couldn't really focus on the movie.

Learning in progress

Not trying to brag or smth but yeah.. :D

Go Ragnar! Some of you might not know but my country's (probably your's too) best football player Ragnar Klavan recently joined a football club Liverpool in England. Liverpool is one of the most famous clubs in the world and Klavan is the most expensive Estonian football player. Wish him best of luck and hope he gets some decent playing time.

Today, I'm going to attend my best friend Mark's birthday party. Hopefully, we're going to take some pictures too so I can blog about it. :)

Heights

"Nothing will work unless you do." - Maya Angelou

Well, one day left till my job is over and then I have to choose if I want to work more or not. We have had lots of fun at the work with my friend Simon. Some day is hard but then there are days where we don't have much work to do and we can have some fun too. Our boss Peeter (Pets) is a freakin badass and his boss (so technically my boss too) is cool too. Peeter's day pretty much consists of driving his tractor and smoking cigarettes. His scar on his face and tattoo on his arm shows that this lad has seen sh*t.

Damn, why am I scared of heights? Simon cleaning that house reaal good.

Not that I'm afraid of heights but being on the platform made my knees weak

Amazing quality selfie - damn, I need a camera

One day when we were at my friend's place, we played some table tennis. Oh, it had been a while since I last played the game but then I got the chance to hold the racket again and beat everyone. Only asians can beat me. #nooffense

Also, an extreme sports event BASH16 took place in my hometown and it was awesome to watch people with talent that I sadly don't have. Not gonna talk much about it because I missed most of it thanks to my job.

Some of you readers are football fans too I expect? Or soccer or whatever :D. Anyway I watched the final game of EURO2016 with my friends and the game was great. With France dominating in the first half and Portugal's Eder scoring in the end, it was a pleasure to watch. Even though I'm not a fan of Ronaldo, he got my attention when even a serious injury couldn't get him off the pitch and later if he really couldn't play anymore he made sure to be a mental support for his team - he showed his passion, how important the win was for him.

"If Ronaldo needs a surgery after that tackle, then Dimitri should Payet." - The SPORT Bible's comment section

As well as working my ass off, I recently discovered a site where I can improve myself with taking online courses. The site's address is www.udemy.com and so far I've been really pleased with the tutorials over there. I've been taking courses in design, investing and recently started learning a new programming language (C#). Definately check the page out!

England vs tea bag

Q: What's the difference between England and a tea bag?  A: The tea bag stays in the cup longer.

End of June. I have my whole summer planned ahead. In July I work hard and earn money to enjoy August 200%. In August, I'm probably going to WEEKEND Festival Baltic with my friends and after that I'm going to spend a week at a media seminar (it's pretty much like a camp or smth). The second half of August will be more relaxing according to my plan. As I still haven't got the chance to swim in the sea this summer, I thought about going to Kabli beach again like last summer. Furthermore, I'm thinking about visiting Iceland but that's only maybe.

Spearhead

In conclusion, the first half of the summer has been splendid. Iceland winning England in the Euros - absolutely delightful. England left the Euro twice :D. The weather is mostly sunny and I've been playing volleyball and football quite much lately, I even went jogging around Lake Viljandi (12km).

Proud

"He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life." - Muhammad Ali

It's been a long time since the last post but I've been keeping myself really busy lately and the blog can't catch up yet :D. I was in a camp for 5 days last week but I haven't got the pictures of the camp yet so I'm waiting until the photographer sends me the pics and then I'm going to make a HUGE post about it. The camp was spectacular!

Dimitri Payet 8

But now let's talk about what has happened lately after I came home from the camp. I've been studying a lot because tomorrow I have a physics exam - I'm scared, I'm nervous, I'm frightened. I can't study properly because UEFA EURO 2016 has begun and I want to watch this too. Need to support France and England. :D After the school is over, I'm going to work for a month.

Also, my really good blogger friend Mariel just won the Estonian Youth Blog 2016 award and I'm really proud of her. She has been blogging for many years now and she deserves the award 100%. Go check her blog out! She told me that next year we'll go to the blog awards ceremony together - #squadgoals.

Talking about more sad stuff then the boxing legend Muhammad Ali recently passed away. He's one of those persons who make me want to live in 60's, 70's and 80's - decades what many people call golden. He is the greatest of all time. Rest in peace, champ!

Aloha

"There are two great days in a person's life - the day we are born and the day we discover why." - William Barclay

So hot! The weather in here is boiling hot for real. While you're reading this post put THIS song playing for backround. The weekend has passed by and one of the last schoolweeks begun. The only bad thing about time flying by too quickly is that the physics exam is getting closer and closer. I may be good at math but I ain't understanding the laws of physics so well.
Anyway, on Thursday there was a small music event in my townie. Reunited with some of my old buddies, listened to good music and danced waltz - got home at 3 in the morning aaand the following day was a schoolday :D.

I was so exhausted after school I just had to take a nap before going to a birthday party. My ex-classmate and a good friend Birgit reached her way up to sweet 18. The party was cool - more girls than guys *winkle* *winkle*. I drank wine and we danced, enjoyed ourselves. The people at the party were really friendly even though they didn't know me and I didn't know them - it was great to make some new friends. I managed to took some pictures too.

Wouldn't wanna mess with them

Saturday was more like a resting day. Had a barbeque with my best friends. I hate that I missed the Champions League final that day. I was on the Atletico Madrid's side but unfortunately they lost on penalties. On Wednesday, I'll be going to a camp with students from Sillamäe. It's a russian-estonian language camp and I'm really looking forward to it!
